Life before Nspiregreen
Environmental Specialist, Texas Instruments. Managed air, waste and water environmental programs for the company’s largest semiconductor manufacturing facility. Created waste minimization program to increase waste efficiency and cost savings. Developed comprehensive programs and plans to modify employee behavior towards environmental stewardship. Developed company standards related to environmental program management.

Air Quality Specialist, Texas Instruments Led teams responsible for reducing per fluorocarbon emissions impacts and assisted in management and compliance with Title V of the Clean Air Act. Managed air permits for non-manufacturing sites. Prepared technical reports for federal compliance (Toxics Release Inventory, Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act –TIER 2, Per Fluorocarbon Voluntary Agreements). Provided technical comments on controversial, precedent setting, and complex environmental assessments, reviews and studies to determine impact to company operations.

Community Organizing, Dallas, TX; Selma, AL Served as the National Co-Chair for Black Youth Vote and ran voter registration campaigns, held Get Out the Vote rallies and demonstrations to encourage citizens particularly youth to become involved in the civic participation process. Lead community initiatives targeted at youth education, leadership, mentoring and public service.
